  • Arlington Heights and Vernon Hills police launched Operation Last Call to target suspects linked to over 115 overnight retail burglaries; three arrests, including Marquise D. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Rolling Meadows was selected as one of 30 Chicago area communities to receive technical assistance from the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning for its Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan.   • In Des Plaines, several tenants at the large O’Hare Lakes office center have begun moving as the FAA will leave its 45-year space for a modern building in Rosemont in 2026—leaving the property’s future unclear and prompting plans for retail development.
