🚨 Crime
Arlington Heights and Vernon Hills police launched Operation Last Call to target suspects linked to over 115 overnight retail burglaries; three arrests, including Marquise D.

Rolling Meadows was selected as one of 30 Chicago area communities to receive technical assistance from the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning for its Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan.
The plan will fill gaps in bike lanes and improve connections to Busse Woods, local schools, Harper College and Arlington Heights—enhancing safety and connectivity for residents.
In Des Plaines, several tenants at the large O’Hare Lakes office center have begun moving as the FAA will leave its 45-year space for a modern building in Rosemont in 2026—leaving the property’s future unclear and prompting plans for retail development.
Meanwhile, Arlington Heights officials welcomed K9 Maui to the public safety team—replacing two retired police dogs and bolstering local law enforcement.
