  • Police, firefighters and paramedics responded to a motorcycle crash with a BMW at the intersection of Arlington Heights Road and Plum Grove Circle in Buffalo Grove (at 5:33 p.m. on June 5th) where the motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and was given CPR before being transported to Endeavor Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights (his condition was not confirmed).  The Cardinal

  • In a sectional semifinal on Thursday at Grayslake Central, Crystal Lake South beat St. Viator 4-0 with senior pitcher Mark Pachla throwing only 70 pitches to shut out the Lions — his record now stands at 9-2 — and the win gives the Gators a spot in Saturday's sectional final against Cary-Grove at 11 a.m.  Daily Herald
