  • ➤ State senators will hold a 'For The People' bus tour stop in Buffalo Grove on Sunday from noon to 1 p.m. at Mike Rylko Community Park (1000 N. Buffalo Grove Road) to talk about federal budget cuts and ways to protect programs. Adriane Johnson, Mary Edly-Allen and Mark Walker will meet local residents (who depend on health care, mental health services and affordable housing) to answer questions about the changes.  The Daily Herald

  • ➤ On April 23, a topping-off ceremony marked the progress of Arlington Gateway’s first phase at the southeast corner of Arlington Heights and Algonquin roads, as an eight-story, 301-unit multifamily building opened its construction with 26,000 sq ft of retail space & 17,500 sq ft of indoor and outdoor amenities.
