- ➤ Construction is underway near the Arlington Heights-Rolling Meadows corner along Illinois Rt 53 and Euclid Road as part of an $82.8 million project to rebuild a 6.4-mile roadway and upgrade bridges, traffic signals, lighting and drainage. Overnight lane closures were in effect from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and DOT confirmed the project is not linked to the Chicago Bears' potential move from the former racetrack site—approved years ago.
