- ➤ Business owners Chip Brooks and Chris Dungan helped launch Arlington Alfresco during the pandemic when indoor dining was limited to support local restaurants in Arlington Heights. The annual event, now in its sixth season, opens May 2 and runs through Sept. 29 (allowing restaurants to nearly match inside capacity from before the pandemic) and continues to boost downtown business.
