- ➤ Village Trustee Jim Tinaglia won 7,165 votes—55.31% of the votes—from all 52 precincts on Tuesday, April 1, and will become Arlington Heights’ next mayor. He celebrated with his wife Cindy, family and supporters at Hey Nonny restaurant in downtown Arlington Heights as unofficial results were confirmed. Journal & Topics Media Group
- ➤ Unofficial Tuesday night results show Jim Bertucci, Carina Santa Maria, Greg Zyck and Bill Manganaro leading an eight-candidate race for four Arlington Heights village board trustee seats as 87% of precincts have reported. Bertucci, the only incumbent, has received 6,006 votes while his rivals trail behind. Daily Herald
- ➤ A retired school band director and newcomer, Eric Bachmann, won a seat on the Palatine Township District 15 school board in unofficial results Tuesday—incumbent Lisa Beth Szczupaj led with 6,930 votes and occupational therapist James J.
