- ➤ District 214 students built 30 tiny homes and a community center for homeless veterans at Golden Isles Veterans’ Village in Brunswick, Georgia. They raised funds, built structures, and shipped them from school to help veterans gain transitional housing & support. Daily Herald

- ➤ Arlington Heights trustee candidate Argie Karafotias may have to give up the liquor licenses for his Golden Brunch diner at 31 E. Golf Road if elected, because state law and local rules do not allow elected officials to hold alcohol licenses in towns with over 55,000 residents—Karafotias said he would drop the licenses or change his business if officials require it. - ➤ Journal-area girls track indoor conference championships were held March 20—22. Maine West's Precious Akinsanya and other top athletes set records in events as teams in leagues like CSL North, CSL South, NSC, GCAC, MSL/Nagel-Saylor and West Suburban posted their scores.
