  • ➤ A fire erupted at a Mount Prospect home on March 17 when firefighters arrived by 6:30 p.m. and treated one person at a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries—fire crews from Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, Des Plaines, and Prospect Heights quickly brought the blaze under control in 30 minutes while damage is estimated at $150,000.  Journal & Topics Media Group

  • ➤ At approximately 5:25 p.m. on March 15, Palatine police observed Arlington Heights man Brian G. Lister (37) unlawfully crossing railroad tracks near North Brockway and Wilson streets when the gates were down and warning signals were active, and he now faces several drug charges.  Journal & Topics Media Group
