Arlington Heights Rd. after the village board approved its Class E liquor license on Tuesday, Feb. 17 (it is set to open in March with dishes such as tempura, ramen, and curry and varied operating hours).

The Village Board approved a $148,170 contract to install 1,000 feet of sidewalk along Oakton Street’s north side from 8th Avenue to I-90, closing a key gap in the pedestrian network, and construction will begin in April pending an IDOT permit.
Cook County property owners can pay for their 2025 first installment tax bills online starting Feb.
20 + mailed bills will be sent on March 2; payment is due April 1, officials said to ease payment stress.
